Just read the article about the Delays in the "One Piece" redo project! And I must say it has me nervous. If they just go back and re-animate the old episodes... freshen up the art work, that's cool! But chances are while they are "Freshen Up the Art Work" they'll redo the episodes to the point you won't recognize them or change the story completely, like they did when they re-did "Full Metal Alchemist"! They did a "Re-Do" on "Full Metal Alchemist" and completely changed the story on it, to the point it was a different anime save for some of the characters being the same. I kind of like the original better than the 2nd (newer version)!

So if you love "One Piece" the way it is, as far as the story goes, You might ought to buy it on DVD or download it all NOW! Cause studios have a nasty track record of really Screwing up a successful show when they go back and "Re-do" things. When the "NEW AND IMPROVED" "All-Metal Alchemist" came out, the original became almost impossible to find!

While I'm not a huge "One Piece" fan, I do like it. It would be a crying shame if the OG up til now was suddenly yank and toss in the garbage to promote the new production! There's rumors that Kubo may be thinking about redoing the 1st 366 episodes of "Bleach", that would be a crying shame as well, but I have it on DVD, so I set if they pull a "Full-Metal Alchemist" style redo on "Bleach"!

While I'm not a Fan of A.I., I've seen some A.I. generated artwork of Bleach Characters and One Piece Characters, and they LOOK GREAT! If we could get an A.I. system that could take an O.G. anime and put the old Realistic Look A.I. can do, that might be interesting!

If you're worried about WIT studio messing with the Remake of One Piece, then I'd say not to worry. The Studio has a great set of anime under its name, and there is no question that the studio will compromise the animation quality. If there is potential to ruin this project, it could be in the narrative planning. Perhaps, to cover more story, the remake might condense more than it should, which could affect the story or major changes in the stories, then I'd be very pissed.
