Hi

I’m not really a hardcore comic fan, but I like comic books a lot for their stories and visuals.

I’m working on a small project where I use short comic scenes as a visual reference, and AI-generated reinterpretations of them, to talk about ideas from Stoicism — things like choice, control, responsibility, fear, conscience.

It’s not about explaining the plot or replacing the original art. The comics are more like a starting point, and the focus is on the philosophical idea behind the situation.

I know AI is a sensitive topic for a lot of people, so I’m genuinely curious how this approach feels from a comic reader’s point of view.

Does it feel like an interesting way to look at these stories?

Or does it take something away from them?

I’m not here to promote anything — just trying to understand different perspectives.

Thanks for any honest opinions.
