PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Indie Author Lee A. Eide Releases Dark Superhero Satire THAT-MAN AND ROB N. VS. THE HUNTER OF HUNTERS.

A gritty blend of comic-book obsession, vigilante justice, dark humor, and thriller suspense.

RED WING, MINNESOTA — Independent author and screenwriter Lee A. Eide has announced the release of his new novel, THAT-MAN AND ROB N. VS. THE HUNTER OF HUNTERS, now available in paperback and Kindle editions through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing.

Part superhero satire, part psychological thriller, the novel follows two socially isolated Batman fanatics who reinvent themselves as “That-Man” and “Rob N.” after a mysterious extremist known as “The Hunter of Hunters” begins abducting hunters and broadcasting disturbing online videos from the frozen town of Frozen Balls, North Dakota.

L

Blending dark comedy, noir influences, and violent suspense, the book explores obsession, internet culture, vigilantism, and the blurred line between heroism and delusion.

“This story started as a twisted love letter to comic-book mythology and evolved into something darker and stranger,” said Eide. “It’s about fandom, identity, loneliness, and the dangerous fantasy of becoming the hero in your own story.”

Eide, a Minnesota-based writer, has also developed several satirical and high-concept screenwriting projects, including The Dictator Open, Dark Messiah, and Operation Stealing from the Masters. THAT-MAN AND ROB N. VS. THE HUNTER OF HUNTERS continues his fascination with satire, flawed antiheroes, and morally chaotic worlds.

The novel is aimed at readers who enjoy:

  • Dark superhero satire

  • Psychological thrillers

  • Comic-book inspired fiction

  • Vigilante/crime stories

  • Offbeat Midwestern noir

Stories in the spirit of Joker, Kick-Ass, and The Batman.

Paperback and Kindle editions are available now.
