Mega man was a great character I’m surprised they don’t do more with him (ie. movies, cartoons, comics, racing games, pinball games the sonic treatment) or am I just standing on a mega man island alone.

Yes how far out is episode 10 going to be from episode 9 and is this the Rey movie they were talking about that was coming?

Oh yea one of my all-time favorite memory of the SNES was me and two buddies playing megaMan X when it came and you know how it shows a villain, title screen before the level so we clicked on storm eagle and his name flashes across the screen and it shows him standing there then out of nowhere his wings extended and we were all like whoa!!!!!!! (The villain screen had working animation. ) 😂

Jon Watts is directing episode 10. I’m excited for that I enjoyed skeleton crew. I thought it was a fun lighthearted classic style entry into Star Wars and it had some cool plot threads that are just hanging out there like what’s up with Judd laws character. So if Watts can bring that feeling and those kinda vibes to the movie, it would be interesting and breathe fresh life into the skywalker saga.

I’ll do you one better I still have a working SNES that I still play and that’s the only system I have.

I may have to give the second season more of a chance. I’ve only seen the first three episodes of season two and turned it off it felt more of the same like season one and I was not a fan. I do like the threat level midnight fandom documentaries that they put out. Those are cool.

Does anyone enjoy the paper? I was so surprised it got a second season but the office took more than one season to get into a rhythm so it deserves a chance but I can’t get into it the characters are just too annoying. It’s far from the office in quality but close enough in structure where it can’t stand on its own.

For real 😳 did they take new jobs somewhere else? I hope they weren’t laid off. I wish them all the best Matt was a cool happy dude and shined a light on areas of comic and geekdom that doesn’t get their time in the sun (I’ve taken dozens of his recommendations and am rarely disappointed) where else are you getting a tabletop or random card game breakdown on a main stream podcast. He’s been a great hang and enthusiast voice every Friday for the past 6 years. Evan I’ve only been getting to know recently since he’s been added to the pod but always had interesting takes and was becoming a go to voice for horror and anime opinions for me. They will be missed. All the best hopefully it wasn’t for a budgetary reason cuz that would just suck. What is happening moving forward will comicbook nation still continue? hopefully so, they should bring Charlie back and they’re gonna need some people to bounce stuff off Kofi because Kofi is the man and Janel is there but Charlie would toss grenades. They should team up with the Hot Mic.

I want to write for you guys. I have plenty of television and movie knowledge, opinions, and hot takes I can start a fire without matches. Can I submit some samples for the editors to read to possibly lead to writing articles for comic book

With Marvel announcing the November 11 date, what do you think will take that spot? Do you think it’s gonna be a sequel of sorts or something new? I hope it’s something that comes out of left field a strange character or odd ball team that no one sees coming but still fits in the overall franchise. Something like Howard the Duck.

What about the announcement of the villains land at Magic Kingdom. I think it’s odd and shows the times we are in. they want to make all the villains sympathetic you’re not supposed to root for the villains 😂

Tell me it’s not crazy that the last two shows that have Kyle Chandler billed as one of the leads have him dying in the first episode. 😂😂😂

Give us more of that X-Force X Factor stuff, That bad ass opening credit scene was an awesome surprise. However Season two has been hit or miss it’s been too expansive. It was some much to keep up with. It should be a little more linear. Season one came out in batches of episodes that were their own arcs with an overall through line that connected the whole season they should go back to something more like that story structure wise. I definitely liked seeing the other teams and loved adult jubilee she was bad ass. Her fight to Veruca Salt’s Volcano Girls is pure late 90s magic.
