    This year is going to be different than years past. Our only granddaughter, almost 2 has been in lurie'd children's hospital in Chicago since mid October. Several life saving surgeries later, she's still there with our oldest son. So this year, I'll be going to my sisters tomorrow with our youngest son, make dinner spend time with my husband who has to work on Christmas, then see our oldest daughter on Xmas morning with her boyfriend, video call with our granddaughter to see her open a few gifts from us. Then when she and my son get home finally sometime next year, then we'll put up the tree and have another Christmas where she and our son can celebrate with us. Merry Christmas everyone, and may the new year bring you many good tidings and blessings.
