    Best version of Venom in my opinion is from Amazing Spiderman #316. Not only is this his first cover appearance but the creepy elongated smile and size comparison to Spidey captures the menacing foe that he is. The toddfather brought readers to a new level of anxious fear because Brock shared the same feels that Peter felt with the symbiote, knew his every move and weakness.

    As much as I would want Spiderman to win in a straight match to the finish, it’s no contest with a hellspawn. Instead of webs, Spawn has chains, necro suit for fast healing and weaponized cape.
