  1. Now I would say reptile would win because he’s my favorite character of all time in MK butttttt lets face the facts Raiden would win against Reptile because of a massive gap in power, role, and feats within Mortal Kombat lore. Raiden is not just a fighter—he is the God of Thunder and the eternal protector of Earthrealm. His power comes directly from Elder Gods and the cosmic balance of the realms. This means his abilities are not limited by stamina, poison, stealth, or physical limits the way Reptile’s are. Raiden commands raw elemental lightning, teleportation, time distortion (in some timelines), and reality-warping techniques that operate on a realm-level scale, not just individual combat. Reptile, while deadly, is fundamentally an assassin and shock trooper. His strengths lie in stealth, ambush tactics, acid attacks, and speed. Against normal fighters, this is lethal. Against Raiden, these advantages collapse. Raiden can sense disturbances in the realms, meaning invisibility and ambush lose effectiveness. Lightning floods entire areas, leaving no space for Reptile to hide. Acid and physical strikes are meaningless against a being who can phase, teleport, and reform almost instantly. In direct combat, Raiden has repeatedly fought and defeated Elder God–level threats, Outworld emperors, and timeline-breaking entities like Shao Kahn, Shinnok, and Kronika. Reptile has never shown the ability to damage opponents on that tier. Reptile is often defeated by mid-tier warriors such as Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, or Kitana—fighters Raiden has trained, empowered, and in some cases surpassed effortlessly. Durability is another decisive factor. Reptile’s body, while resilient, is still biological. Raiden’s attacks are divine energy, not conventional force. Lightning in Mortal Kombat lore is shown to disintegrate souls, overload magical defenses, and erase beings from existence. One sustained lightning strike or divine blast would overwhelm Reptile’s regeneration and dissolve him at a molecular or spiritual level. Finally, Raiden’s mindset matters. He is a strategist and guardian, not a brawler. He does not rush or underestimate opponents. Reptile relies on exploiting mistakes—Raiden gives none. Once Raiden identifies Reptile as a threat, the fight ends quickly through overwhelming power rather than prolonged combat. Conclusion: Reptile is dangerous in shadows and assassinations. Raiden controls the battlefield, the elements, and the outcome. In Mortal Kombat terms, this isn’t a close fight—it’s a god versus a weapon, and the god wins.
