I think the biggest issue is that the show sometimes struggles to decide what it wants to focus on. When it leans into the mystery and larger lore, it becomes genuinely engaging, but when it shifts too heavily into personal arcs, it can lose momentum. It’s not that the characters are bad, they just aren’t always given the strongest material. The contrast between big, high-stakes moments and slower dialogue scenes can feel a bit disjointed. Still, the foundation is there, and if they streamline the storytelling next season, it could turn into something much more consistent and impactful.
