  1. I literally just redownloaded it last night in preparation for Deadpool (and hearing my cousin rave about it on Christmas), so I am excited to see how it has changed since launch, a time when I didn't love it.
  2. id has spent the last few months patching and tweaking it to make it "better," too, so maybe you'll like it even more now. Regardless, I hope the DLC rules.
  3. Hey everyone. I figured with the end of the year closing in and our recent GOTY post, I wanted to check in and see what everyone else's Game of the Year was. My top five games for 2025 are: Ghost of Yotei Lies of P: Overture Metal Eden Silent Hill f Lumines Arise
  4. My local theater isn't showing it, and I'm so mad. It sounds fantastic. At least I got to see Predator: Killer of Killers this year.
  5. Lego has already done video game systems, so I'd like to see a PS1 or PS2 set. I'd also say Vita, but Lego is not that brave.
  6. None of the above. The choice is obvious:
  7. They are like five hours and move pretty quickly (no loading screens and whatnot). What do you want from an MK story mode if you think that is too much story? Also what makes the MK3 Fatalities the best? I think MK11 has the best ones because they're the most elaborate and creative. The older MK games are often just "we hit that guy and he exploded."
  8. Damn, you took my answer because I was also going to say The Prestige. But aside from that, I'd like to rewatch Everything Everywhere All at Once for the first time again but for an unexpected reason. I was so extremely tired when I saw it that I think I liked it slightly less. Through no fault of the movie, I was nodding off, so, even though I still enjoyed it, I don't think it hit me with its full impact.
  9. I saw Signs in the theater when I was 10 and was so profoundly disturbed to the point where I am glad I do not remember exactly what I did because I'd probably die of embarrassment. Why I covered my eyes at the end of Under the Skin can undoubtedly be traced back to how much Signs got to me. Maybe it's the uncanny valley effect, but there's something about aliens that I find way more disturbing than anything else.
  10. I wanted them to take on the Nazis and was expecting that, so I was surprised that the episode took a completely different direction. That direction was fine, but I agree with a few of the other posters here since it felt more like it was more into the idea of setting up other stuff. It was an interesting season overall and not at all what I expected. But I love Gunn's writing style and his ability to put the characters first, so while it didn't have the superhero action stuff I was looking forward to, he still did right by a lot of the cast in many different ways.
  11. I was going to say Arkham Asylum, but then I remembered I had that crappy Hulk game on the PS2 based on the Ang Lee movie because my mom wasn't sure what to give me for my birthday. I don't remember too much about it other than it being a six-pack of ass so I didn't end up finishing it, which is not something I normally do even now. Arkham Asylum was the first one I actually finished and got attached to. What a spectacular game.
  12. It's a bad move given the ire Xbox (and Microsoft at large) has garnered as of late. It also seems designed to subsidize adding Call of Duty to Game Pass, something the July 2024 price hike also seemed to be doing. Also I wouldn't be surprised if the temperate has been turned up at Xbox to be extra profitable given all the billions Microsoft is wasting on AI right now.
  13. Time for my boy to shine
