September 18, 2025Sep 18 To the editors and staff at ComicBook.com,I'm writing as a longtime fan of the Pokémon franchise with a suggestion for the upcoming 30th anniversary. With rumors of new games in 2026, I think it would be fantastic to see full ground-up remakes of both Kanto and Johto on a modern console. These remakes could beautifully integrate elements from the anime that fans have loved for years. Imagine being able to visit Charicific Valley and see it as a fully-realized area in the game. It would be an incredible way to bridge the gap between the games and the animated series. Furthermore, I propose including characters like Liza as the caretaker of the valley, and even her female Charizard, Charla (with her distinct eyelashes and pink bow), could be featured as a permanent cosmetic option. These designs should remain true to their classic appearances.A significant improvement would be to make the remakes open-world, allowing players to explore the connected regions of Kanto and Johto seamlessly. This would create a truly immersive experience that honors the scale and wonder of the original games.Looking to the future, the popularity of Charla's design could pave the way for more cosmetic options in future mainline games, allowing players to personalize their Pokémon with unique features.Thank you for considering this fan feedback.Sincerely,A dedicated Pokémon Fan
