Gen V Finale Predictions

Featured Replies

When "The Boys" first premiered on Amazon Prime, it totally changed my perspective about superhero content. We always saw the powerful people as the heroes, but this show brilliantly portrayed the flawed nature of being human. Anyone with superpowers is also human, and we all are on a spectrum of grey.

Continuing the dark universe of people with extraordinary powers, Gen V is unlocking new angles with every episode. So, for everyone who loves this show, here is a chance to put your two bucks in its praise. Let's discuss what you expect for the finale and how dark you want it to go. I will start with a few things I noticed that might come true in this week's episode.

- Stacey Ferrera: Head of Student Life at Godolkin University, or the Bee woman.

I feel it's the classic example of "Loaded Gun" in storytelling. The concept is that a director shows us a loaded gun at the beginning of a movie, and the gun is usually used in the climax. This Bee woman has repeatedly mentioned that if you get her sting, you will die, and so will she. Now that Godolkin is at his full potential, I am excited about how they use this character. I guess we will see her power for the first and last time, and it will be brutal.

- Marie Moreau

She is undoubly the most powerful supe of all. Her nature of being the savior is gonna pull her into big trouble. Bigger than what we have seen so far. Her sister's vision showed her in a pool of blood, but I am sure Marie won't die. That wouldn't be the best use of her character. Instead, I feel the vision is a metaphor. Her attitude will change by the end, and her "Hero nature" might die, sending her on a dark path.

Apart from this, we may see a few cameos from The Boys series, just like last season's finale. Black Noir is confirmed to appear, and he is going to hunt Polarity. That guy is gonna die for sure.

I also think Cate Dunlap will be sacrificing her life for some greater cause, and it will haunt Marie in the next season.

Let me know what your thoughts are on this, and what else you expect from the Gen V finale.

I think the Gen V finale will reveal a bigger connection to The Boys Season 4. The way the story is building, it feels like we’ll see Homelander or another Seven member appear in the final moments. Also curious to see if Marie and her friends will end up working with or against Vought after everything that’s happened. What do you all think — redemption arc or total chaos?
