After only a few issues Marvel killed Thunderbird. Maybe he was created with powers duplicated by other heroes so he could be killed early on but…what could have been done. Just those few issues of the Native American rebelling against Xavier, and by proxy Cyclops, white men who took his freedom and tried to make him do their bidding were intense. Him/Wolverine/Cyclops battling for alpha male status would have been riveting. It’s time to bring him back into the fold and revisit this dynamic.
