  1. Great choices. I would like to see Geiger get his own series and start building the Ghost Machine Universe.
  2. I think Deadpool and Wolverine are almost guaranteed, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Tobey or Andrew show up. One I'd really love to see is Nicolas Cage turning into Ghost Rider one more time. How cool would that be?
  3. I'd love to see SEGA announce a new mainline Sonic game at The Game Awards. It's always exciting when a major gaming event brings some unexpected announcements. Hopefully Sonic fans will have something to look forward to this year!
  4. We've seen plenty of comic book characters make the jump to television over the years, but there are still so many who haven't gotten their chance. With shows like Daredevil: Born Again, Peacemaker, and The Penguin showing how well comic book characters can work on television, I'm curious who everyone thinks should be next. If you could give any Marvel, DC, or independent comic book character their own live-action TV series, who would you choose? And would you rather see them get a standalone series or become part of an existing superhero universe?
  5. I haven't really followed the Avatar series, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. Is The Seven Havens something longtime fans are excited about, or has the reaction been mixed so far?
  6. There are so many games I've played over the years, but some are just worth going back to again and again. For me, the original Diablo is one that always comes to mind. I played it back in college, and it's still one of those games I enjoy revisiting. It's still just as creepy. What about everyone else? Is there a game you've beaten multiple times or one you always seem to return to, no matter how old it gets? I'm curious which games have held up the best for everyone.
  7. New York Comic Con is happening this weekend, and I'm curious if anyone here is attending! Are you checking out any panels, meeting celebrities or comic creators, or hunting for exclusive comics and collectibles? For those of us following along from home, is there anything you're hoping gets announced? And if you're attending NYCC or another convention this weekend, let us know what you're most excited about!
  8. Sonic and Power Rangers would definitely make for an interesting crossover. I could see Dr. Eggman and Rita Repulsa teaming up, and the idea of Sonic and his friends becoming Rangers could be pretty fun. I wonder what their Zords would look like.
  9. There are plenty of movies that probably didn't need sequels but got them anyway. Meanwhile, some great movies never got a follow-up. What's one movie you've always wanted to see get a sequel? It doesn't have to be a superhero movie. I'm curious what everyone would pick, especially if it's something that came out years ago.
  10. I've recently started picking up some of the Marvel and DC compact editions, and I'm really liking the idea of getting complete storylines for around $10 or less. From Marvel, I've picked up Daredevil: Born Again, Ultimate Spider-Man, and Fantastic Four: Solve Everything. From DC, I've grabbed Batman: The Court of Owls Saga and All-Star Superman. The smaller size takes a little getting used to, but for the price, I think they're a great way to catch up on stories I've missed without spending a fortune. I'm curious how many of you are buying these editions. Do you like the smaller format, or would you rather spend more for traditional full-size trades? And if you've been picking them up, which ones would you recommend?
  11. Marvel's new Midnight Universe officially launched today with Midnight Spider-Man #1, Midnight X-Men #1, and Midnight Fantastic Four #1. For anyone unfamiliar with it, this is a darker, horror-inspired take on the Marvel Universe, with familiar characters being reimagined in some pretty wild ways. I love seeing Marvel experiment with alternate versions of its characters, and I'm especially interested in what they do with the Fantastic Four. I picked up one of each and got the horror movie homages such as The Thing for Fantastic Four, The Fly for Spider-Man, and Fright Night for the X-Men. Did anyone pick up any of these issues today? Which series are you most excited about, and what do you think of Marvel going in this darker direction?
  12. Welcome to the forum! I'm a collector myself, so you're definitely in good company here. 😂 What kind of video games and movies do you enjoy collecting the most?
  13. Yeah, I think it's now on issue #24. Really cool Batman universe. I have all of them, but got a little behind and need to catch up on it soon.

I’d definitely like to see developers update some older games to take advantage of it. It would be interesting to see how much of a difference QSSR could make with games that already look great.
  15. I think Cyclops vs. Captain America could be a really good one. They’re both natural leaders, but I could definitely see them ending up on opposite sides when the Avengers and X-Men first meet. Plus, Cap trying to deal with Cyclops’ optic blasts could make for a pretty great fight.
  16. I’ll probably spend the first few hours just exploring and checking out the map without really committing to anything.
  17. Absolute Batman has been around for a while now, but I’m curious how everyone is feeling about this version of Batman. For anyone who hasn't read it, the series takes the familiar Batman mythology and rebuilds it from the ground up. Bruce Wayne is still Batman, but he doesn't have the Wayne fortune, mansion or all the resources we're used to seeing him with. Even familiar characters and villains have been reimagined for this universe. I really like the idea of taking a character we've known for decades and asking what Batman looks like when you change some of the fundamental pieces of his story. Have you been reading Absolute Batman? What do you think of this version of Bruce and his world? And if you haven't read it yet, does the different take make you interested in trying it?
  18. I think he means Absolute Batman but not sure.
  19. The new series is really good too! I have a subscription to it and read it as soon as it comes out.
  20. I need to check this one out.
  21. Welcome, Hysandel! 😂 You found a pretty good place to kill some time. What kind of comics, movies, shows, or games are you into?
  22. Welcome! Glad to have you here. I'm a writer too, so it's always nice to see another writer join the community. What kind of YA fiction are you working on?
  23. I haven't played Veilguard yet, but I've definitely noticed how divided the reaction to it has been. It's interesting hearing from someone who went through the older games first and is still enjoying it. I'd be curious to hear what longtime Dragon Age players here think specifically about the gameplay changes.
  24. This sounds fun! I hope it works out for you!
  25. A new Blade movie would be awesome! I think now is a great time for them to make a new movie.
