FAN REQUEST: Is it finally time for the "Saban Trio" to get the Blu-ray treatment?

With the recent launch of the Hasbro Legends TV channel, it’s been incredible to see the renewed focus on heritage brands. Seeing Prince Dex and the Power Rangers back on a broadcast schedule has reignited a massive conversation in the tokusatsu and retro-gaming communities. However, there is still a massive, gaping hole in our physical media collections.

I am writing to urge you to look into—or perhaps champion—the release of Saban’s Masked Rider, VR Troopers, and Big Bad Beetleborgs (including Metallix) on Blu-ray.

For years, these shows have lived in the shadow of Power Rangers. While the Rangers have seen multiple complete-series sets, these three "cousin" series have been largely relegated to out-of-print DVDs or grainy streaming uploads. Here is why now is the perfect time for a high-definition "Saban Era" collection:

1. The Hasbro Connection: Now that Hasbro Entertainment is actively mining their vaults for the Legends channel, the assets are clearly being dusted off. A partnership with a boutique label like Shout! Factory or Vinegar Syndrome for a "Saban Heritage Collection" would be a guaranteed sell-out for 90s kids.

2. Toei’s HD Remasters: In Japan, the source footage for these shows (Kamen Rider Black RX, Metalder, Spielban, and the B-Fighter series) has already undergone stunning HD restorations. The heavy lifting is half-done! We just need the American masters spliced with that crisp Toei footage.

3. The Cult Following: From the memes of Ferbus to the genuine love for the Beetleborgs’ "Hillhurst Monsters" and the heavy synth-rock vibes of VR Troopers, these shows have a distinct identity that fans are desperate to preserve in high quality.
