Hello Sonic fans.

Sega is hiring new recruits for Sonic Team, the new mainline Sonic game and new Sonic projects.

It says the Scenario writer would turn fanfic to canon.

Some fanfics would be:

• The new hedgehog who would be Teen Gohan inspired with lightning powers. Would be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch In English and Miyu Irino in Japanese.

• New hedgehog's sister/sidekick would be inspired by Jessica Rabbit/Chun-li inspired with her outfit would by inspired by Lola Bunny's in the 90s. Would be voiced by Erica Lindbeck In English and Haruka Tomatsu in Japanese.

• New Robotnik family member with a beard, and black glasses, sinister and comedic. Would be voiced by Patrick Seitz In English and Akio Otsuka in Japanese

• World Integration: He comes from a "Future Zone" where the environment is purely mechanical. He doesn't use the Chaos Emeralds for raw power but acts as a "Living Battery"—he can track the energy signatures of the Emeralds across dimensions.

• Visual Language: To avoid the "Teen Gohan" look, his silhouette needs to be jagged. Think of spikes that flow backward like a lightning bolt in motion. His fur shouldn't just be static; it should have subtle, crackling particles or a neon-blue glow that intensifies the faster he moves.

2. The Sister/Sidekick ("Luna" - Placeholder Name)

• The Gimmick (Momentum Tether): She wouldn't just wall-climb; she would use a "Grapple-Dash." She carries a specialized gadget (an heirloom from a previous civilization) that allows her to tether onto moving debris or enemies. Her gameplay is all about "swinging" through levels at high speed, turning the environment into a series of slingshots.

• World Integration: She is the "Archivist" of their world. While Sonic is about the present and future, she is the one who understands the ancient lore of the Chaos Emeralds. She views the Emeralds as ancient technology that needs to be "calibrated" rather than just collected.

• Visual Language: To solve the "Chun-Li/Lola" issue, strip away the human-inspired clothing. Give her a streamlined, athletic jumpsuit that matches the high-tech aesthetic of the Sonic world. Focus her silhouette on long, flowing ears or gear that creates a "trail" effect behind her when she swings, ensuring she looks like a blur of motion in a 2.5D or 3D space.

3. The Robotnik Relative ("Dr. Vane" - Placeholder Name)

• The Gimmick (Tactical Chaos): Unlike Eggman’s brute force (giant mechs), Vane uses "Probability Manipulation." He places traps that change the level layout in real-time. He is a "puzzle" boss who makes the level harder the longer you take.

• World Integration: He is a rogue scientist who split from the Eggman Empire. He wants to use the Chaos Emeralds to "rewrite" history, making him a villain who is a genuine threat to Eggman as well as Sonic.

• Visual Language: The "Beard/Glasses" trope is great, but give him a distinct shape. If Eggman is a circle/egg, make Vane a triangle. A sharp, angular, tall, and thin design makes him look more calculating and "sinister" compared to Eggman’s round, jovial appearance.
