Iizuka wants the whole Sonic library on modern consoles—here’s how they should do it.

Hey everyone, just saw the news that Takashi Iizuka is pushing for every past Sonic title to be playable on modern hardware. Honestly, if they’re going to do this, I really hope they don't just dump raw ports on us.

I’d love to see them treat these like full "Definitive Editions." If they bring back titles like Adventure, 06, or the Storybook games, I really want to see them re-recorded with the current modern voice cast. Hearing the modern versions of these characters would make the whole franchise feel cohesive for the first time. Plus, imagine Secret Rings or Black Knight with actual modern controller support instead of the old Wii motion gimmicks?

Which game do you think needs the biggest overhaul to be playable today? I’m convinced 06 needs a ground-up remake just to make the physics work, but Unleashed could be a masterpiece with just a few performance tweaks.
