If The Pokémon Company ever pursued a high-profile, unionized remake produced out of a major Los Angeles studio like Studiopolis, the casting potential is incredible. • Ash Ketchum – Erica Mendez: Mendez has the perfect raspy, high-energy shonen protagonist tone (proven by her work as Gon Freecss). She could seamlessly replicate the classic, stubborn, yet wide-eyed determination originally established by Veronica Taylor.

• Misty – Kira Buckland: Buckland has the ideal range to balance Misty’s iconic short-tempered, fiery outbursts with her deeply caring, supportive side.

• Brock – Aleks Le: Le excels at switching between earnest mentorship and over-the-top, high-energy comedy—essential for Brock’s dramatic shifts whenever he falls in love.

• Jessie & James – Cristina Vee & Ben Diskin: This duo would be pure gold. Vee brings the theatrical, glamorous, and volatile villain energy needed for Jessie, while Diskin perfectly handles the melodramatic, sensitive, and flamboyant charm of James.

• Meowth – Keith Silverstein: Silverstein’s sharp comedic timing and ability to deliver a gritty, fast-talking character voice would pay excellent homage to the classic, Brooklyn-accented grit of the original Meowth.

• Professor Oak – Kirk Thornton: Thornton has the exact warm, authoritative, yet slightly eccentric grandfatherly presence required to welcome a new generation to the Pokémon world.

• Gary Oak – Max Mittelman: Mittelman specializes in arrogant, smug, yet undeniably charismatic rivals, making him the ultimate choice for Ash's primary motivation.

• Tracey Sketchit – Todd Haberkorn: Haberkorn’s earnest, friendly, and enthusiastic vocal quality matches the gentle nature of the Orange Islands Pokémon watcher perfectly.
