Spider-Man 98 revival after X-Men 97’s cameos paid off.

Featured Replies

Hey everyone on the board,

I just had to jump on here and say: we need to make a Spider-Man '98 revival happen. Seeing Spidey pop up in X-Men '97 wasn't just a fun little Easter egg—it felt like a massive proof of concept. The animation style looked incredible, the tone was spot-on, and it proved that the appetite for that 90s Marvel Animated Universe (MAU) is higher than ever.

Christopher Daniel Barnes' Peter Parker left off on such a massive cliffhanger with him and Madame Web heading out to find the real Mary Jane Watson. We've been waiting decades for closure! If Disney+ can give X-Men the masterful revival it deserves, there is absolutely no reason Spider-Man shouldn't be next in line.

Let's keep the noise going, keep streaming the original '94 series, and show Marvel that the web-head deserves his own '98 continuation.

Who else is with me on this? What storylines would you want to see them tackle first if it actually gets greenlit?
