Maybe (probably) I'm reading too much into it, but I noticed MJ appeared in a black-and-white striped outfit during the opening montage. Since MJ has been bonded with a symbiote in the comics before, I immediately wondered if it was a subtle nod to that.

Do you think it was just a stylistic choice, a small Easter egg, or completely random? Or did they just do it so I'd end up writing this thread?
