August 3Aug 3 I just wanted to drop a quick opinion here. As a former journalist and a six decade long comic book fan I was really impressed by this article. The Watchmen have always fascinated, and to some extent disturbed, me and this article did a lot to connect 40 years worth of musing about them together cohesively. Collectively these listed plot points go a long way in explaining both the comics cultural impact and their impact on me. For a fifteen year old with Silver Surfer and Elfquest posters in his room Watchmen blew my mind wide open and seeing their top crazy moments grouped and discussed in a serious and intellectual way really opened my eyes and mind. Thanks to the author, the website and, of course, to the superheroes.
