🤔 It’s hard to pick just one because GTA has had some great eras. San Andreas and GTA IV will always be up there for me, but GTA V gets my vote. What really separated GTA V was how much life it had be

I'd agree that GTA San Andreas is very likely the GOAT, but my favorite is still GTA Vice City

GTA IV. Best story, best protagonist, best bowling.

I bought this one and it's dlc twice, ps3 and Xbox, and still haven't gotten to it. I can't wait to jump in after hearing this, I never really hear anyone talk about IV.

GTA 5. All the memories with online friends. Old games were incredible, though with 5k hours, it's the one I'll never forget. Hoping to continue the legacy into 6. See you all there!

gta vice city 100%. the vibes, the soundtrack, the characters, really did feel like a crime thriller

GTA V is the best experience I think we’ve had as a community with a GTA game. It’s unlike any other. It’s the best.

San Andreas was the best in terms of depth in story mode. Ive probably spent the most time on GTA online though.

Having played them all since GTA 1… Vice City was where GTA just became larger than life for me. And it’ll always hold a special place in my heart. Although, I never could complete that RC Plane mission 😂

Definitely gta vice city. The soundtrack was fantastic and so was the atmosphere which is why I’m pumped to be going back to vice city!!!

Hello CB Forum,

It's time for our weekly giveaway! We recently ran an article reporting that GTA6 Ultimate Edition pre-orders were outpacing the Standard Edition! We even conducted our own poll to find out which version CB readers intended to buy. To get in on the action, we're going to give away one copy of the Ultimate Edition to a lucky forum user (a $99 value).

In case you didn't know, the Ultimate Edition Upgrade includes: "exclusive in-game bonuses for Grand Theft Auto VI, available to Jason and Lucia across their story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter."

To Enter: reply to this thread - and tell us your favorite GTA game (so far). This is MANDATORY to be entered into the contest.

Additional entries can be earned by clicking the Gleam link below: multiple entries can be earned by following us on socials and engaging with other forum users! But make sure to reply to this post still.

The contest runs through Wednesday, August 19th and winners will be sent a direct message here on the CB forum. So keep an eye on your forum inbox!

NOTE: GTA6 doesn't release until November and this is not an early-access giveaway. This giveaway is limited to residents of North America.

My favorite will always be gta 3 it changed gaming

My favorite GTA is definitely the first one. It's one of my earlier gaming memories. My older cousins installed it on my grandparents computer and messed it all up.

3 was fun too because I can remember getting a book full of cheat codes and writing them down for all my friends that played.

Game play-wise, I’d say GTA V. But I really loved the VIBE of GTA 4. The only thing I’d change about it would be the frequency of how many “hang out” request calls you’d get. There were just too many to get anything else done… and then all of your relationships would take a hit. Other than that, I loved it.
