It would track purchases across major platforms (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo), centralizing ownership and securing active licenses regardless of where you bought the game.Beyond basic license protection, a system like this could unlock some awesome possibilities:Cross-Gen Upgrade Hub: Automatically detect when games you own receive next-gen updates, remasters, or discount upgrades across platforms.Delisted Title & DLC Archival: Guarantee access to your owned game files, patches, and DLC even if a publisher pulls the title from store pages.Unified Save & Achievement Sync: Track your overall completion rate and carry save files or cosmetics seamlessly between platforms.Digital Legacy & Sharing: Allow secure library sharing for family members or account transfer options down the line. What do you all think? Would a unified gaming passport be viable today, or will platform exclusivity hold it back?
