August 21Aug 21 I think Wolverine in Wolverine and the xmen(the comic and the show) takes the character in a fun direction. Him being forced to be the headmaster for Xavier’s school leads to well needed growth for Logan and it’s just fun to see.
August 21Aug 21 It still has to be X-Men #25 to me. Wolverine pushing Magneto to the edge where he ripped the adamantium out of him.
August 21Aug 21 In terms of Wolverine media I can say Logan (film) from 2017 is the best interpretation and story of Logan in a emotional and rewarding send of to the character if you’re a superhero film fan especially one that has watched all of the early 2000’s Fox X-Men Universe that pays off for the character in my opinion. If you’ve been with Hugh Jackma since the 1st debut in X-Men (film). His take on the mutant weather it is comic accurate or not delivered a performance that he committed to for 2 decades! I also shoutout to the X-Men Origins Wolverine game with Jackman reprising his roll for that. Game was awesome!! Can’t wait for Insomniacs fresh take on the character. :)
August 21Aug 21 The “Logan” movie is my favorite Wolverine appearance and arguably one of the top 3 comic movies of all time!
August 21Aug 21 My favorite Wolverine appearance was in the first x men movie in 2000. Hugh Jackmon wolverine fighting for money and then he gets in a fight with the guy he defeated. Then wolverine puts the guy up against the wall almost puts his claw in the guy throat and then the bar owner pulls a shotgun on wolverine and says get outta my bar freak. Then wolverine cuts through the shotgun with his claws .
August 21Aug 21 I’m really just a DC guy, so I don’t think I’ve read a comic with Wolverine. I guess that means my favorite Wolverine appearance has to be Logan.
August 21Aug 21 My favorite wolverine moment was in the 90s series when he had the two outer claws extended and on either side someone's face under his chin and intimidated him by saying "sometime these claws SLIP"
August 21Aug 21 I liked Wolverine in deadpool & wolverine the best. I know I'm gonna get crap but I really like X-Men origins wolverine (movie and game)
August 21Aug 21 The Wolverine movie with the tank top. Honestly I feel it’s very biker coded relating to wolverine and it fits him
August 21Aug 21 My favorite iteration of wolverine is wolverine from marvel vs capcom and then wolverine from X-men fox animated series.
August 21Aug 21 Deadpool and Wolverine movie because Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are perfect actors to play these characters.
August 21Aug 21 favorite scene of Wolverine was in the ps4 Deadpool game where you can repeatedly slap him lol best marvel game I’ve played to date. I’m hoping the merc with the mouth makes a special appearance in this gameOn 8/19/2026 at 4:21 PM, Ben Kendrick said:
August 21Aug 21 My favorite Wolverine is definitely the one from the 90s animated series. He’s a fairly comic accurate take down to the height. The episodes centered on him do a great job exploring his history and relationships in and outside of the team. Episodes like Weapon X Lies and Video Tape and Deadly Reunions are standouts.
August 21Aug 21 For me personally it's hard to choose but for movie it's between the first X-Men movie seeing Hugh Jackman protray the character for the first time was amazing, and Deadpool and Wolverine their dynamic was great and we finally got to see Hugh in classic blue and yellow. In terms of games X-men origins wolverine and Marvel's ultimate alliance the team ups were incredible!! In terms of cartoons X-Men 97 both original and new and the X-Men crossover in the Spider-man 90s cartoon that crossover lives rent free in my mind.
August 21Aug 21 My favorite Appearance is either Hulk vs Wolverine or The Wolverine specifically the rated R cut because it's more in line with the character
August 21Aug 21 My favorite has to be Wolverine and the X-Men. It gives us a solid adaptation that is as close to the comics of the time as anything.
August 21Aug 21 Logan was basically peak cinema for me, Hugh has undeniably owned the role in every way but his performance in Logan was just exceptional. I'm so stoked for the Old Man Logan Omnibus coming out later this year
August 21Aug 21 For me, my favorite on-screen appearance has to be X-Men: Children of the Atom. Despite the horrible Australian accent (prediction of Hugh Jackman taking the role? Lol), it was a cool and close to comic book, attitude and all
August 21Aug 21 I'd say when Wolverine fought Lobo in the DC vs Marvel crossover comic. The two kicking each others ass in an alien bar and the outcome (even though fan voted) Wolverine winning. Definitely something that should be noticed more.
