Previously topping the charts for me was Tobey McGuire’s second iteration as the character for his struggle of needing to be the hero fighting against him needing to be Peter Parker, and his clash against Doc Oc had more depth than “creepy bad guy needs to be stopped.”

Holland’s version of the struggle is more prominent, with his acting supplemented by excellent writing and videography.

    I actually kind of agree with this. Brand New Day is probably tied with Spider-Man 2 for me, and I grew up with Tobey’s Spider-Man. That makes it pretty hard for anything to compete with Spider-Man 2, but Brand New Day came surprisingly close.
