4. Minions and monsters: fine if you’re a fan but didn’t really do anything new

   3. coyote vs acme: fun throwback nice to see it saved good nostalgia and john cena was a fun antagonist

      2. FOUR WAY TIE: disclosure day supergirl the odyssey and SpidermAn brand new day disclosure day wasnt quite the modern day close encounters i expected but it was a good Spielberg throwback. Supergirl was a fine popcorn movie and milly is great y’all slept on this! The odyssey: a greek epic by Christopher Nolan what more can you ask for! SpidermAn brand new day: lots of fun cameos spidey/punisher dynamic was great and it didn’t just reset things. X-men implications worry me though

      And the #1 movie of the summer of 2026 is

The mandalorian and grogu: it gave me exactly what i wanted! Another big adventure with one if the better father son duos of Star Wars

That's a pretty interesting list. I still need to catch a few of these, but I like seeing The Mandalorian and Grogu at #1. I also appreciate that you included a few movies that probably wouldn't make everyone's summer list. I'm going to try to see The Odyssey very soon. What was your biggest disappointment of the summer?
