Theory: Pokemon Anime remake in style of The One Piece

Here’s the fan theory of the remake of Pokemon anime on Disney Plus.

Episode ideas: Season 1 could have for arcs. The remake could be a 15 episode arc titled From Pallet to Cerulean. The second 15 episode arc could be titled From Vermillion to Saffron. The third arc could be 18 episode arc titled Road to the Finals. And third and final arc could cover the Orange Islands in 12 episodes titled The Orange Islands. Season 2 should cover the Johto Journeys in 18 episodes titled Entering Johto. A second arc of the second season should have 15 episodes titled Johto League Trials. Third and final arc of season 2 would have 15 episodes titles Johto Climaxes. English voice acting should be handled by Studiopolis. The remake should be kid-friendly.

Focuses and milestones:

• From Pallet to Cerulean: Meeting Pikachu, catching the team, Boulder Badge and Cascade Badge.

• From Vermillion to Saffron: St. Anne arc, Thunder Badge, Ghost Pokemon and Marsh Badge.

• Road to the Finals: Volcano Badge, Earth Badge and the full Indigo Plateau Conference arc.

• Entering Johto: Arrival in New Bark Town, registration for Johto League, Meeting Professor Elm, Battling Faulkner, catching Johto starters, leaving Charizard behind at the Charicific Valley to train.

• Johto League Trials: Goldenrod City, Whitney’s Gym, The National Park Bug Catching Contest, Whirl Islands, Regional Division, Ecruteak City, The Burned Tower, Mid-Journey Milestone and Evolution Breakthroughs.

• Johto Climaxes: Olivine Lighthouse, Ampharos Delivery, Red Gyarados, Lake of Rage Investigation, Blackthorn City, Charizard’s return, Dragon’s Den, Larvitar and Tyranitar Reunion, The Silver Conference, Farewells and New Horizons.

Modernised Classic: Retaining the silhouette and color pallettes of the classic 90s designs like Ash’s cap, Misty’s side ponytail and suspenders and Brock’s closed eyes, but updates the line art, shading and wardrobe details to match contemporary animation.

Expressed Combat and Action Poses: Streamlined character proportions should allow for more dynamic, fluid animation during intense Pokemon battles, emphasising athletic movement and emotional reactions during high stakes movement like gym battles and league finals.

Voice acting: Studiopolis would be the right choice to record the characters voices for localisation and faithful scripts. Anne Yatco should voice Ash Ketchum in the remake. They respect the 4Kids era voice actors like Rachael Lillis and James Carter Cathcart who sadly passed away.
