If you're a fan of Andor/ Rouge One and desperately want more Star Wars stories surrounding the empires rise post episode 3 check out; Star Wars Reign of the Empire. This is a trilogy of books - book 1 came out in 2025 and is titled Mask of Fear. Book 2 just came out and is titled Edge of the Abyss. Book 3 in 2027. Each book focuses on the rise of empire post episode 3 leading up to Andor and focuses on Mon Mothma, Saw Gerrera and Bail Organa. These two books really blew me away by expanding the themes we saw in Andor in a way only a novel could do. These books truly give a great picture of how the empire came to be post episode 3 while showing us how Mon, Bail and Saw all navigate this new galactic empire. Chaos, tyranny, propaganda, spy craft, politics and so much more in Star Wars. Must read!

I’m a big fan of the older Star Wars movies, but I really haven’t gotten into Andor yet. It sounds like I may need to catch up on the series and then check these books out. Thanks for the recommendation!
