I suppose I have always lived in a "Bigger city," but even when I didn't, I was still able to find my local brick-and-mortar shop and build my community there. Right now, I live in Chicago, and there are probably 3-4 comic shops within walking distance, my favorite being Alley Cat Comics in Andersonville. While they may not have the best selection compared to their competitors, the staff and vibe are amazing, and I love them. I also used to live in Houston, frequently visited Bedrock City Comics, and worked for Midtown Comics in NYC. But even when I lived in small towns, I was still able to find shops

oo i need to catch up on feral, i have like the first half of the run, and kind of fell of it

If you go for a death-dealer print, I'd highly recommend Sideshow's. The print quality is top-notch, and it feels like premium art, not just like a poster.

I just caught up with the Comic, "Exquisite Corpses" and there is 1 more issue for season 1 of the book, and it is completely off the rails and i love it! 2 mini series, season 2, an excellent card game coming to kickstarter this month ( i got the beta at C2E2 and have been playing at my weekly game night and it is so much fun) and a potential movie/videogame in the works for it. i'd highly recommend it

i am limiting myself to 1 tcg myself, though i am tempted by many others. I primarily play Sabe, Jynn, and Third Sister in premier, and am back to my old tricks with Rey and Qi'ra in Eternal.

thanks! For Frazetta, I pretty much only have the Death-dealer bust, but it is an excellent piece from Quarantine Studios for the price. A lot of my Diablo things were freebies from the D4 and D2 promotions in NYC, including a vase of hatred. This Lillith summoning kit came complete with [Blood of the Innocents], [Essence of Hatred], and [ Mother's Warm Embrace]. Of course, also a [Dead Crow]. If you like Frazetta, though, definitely check out Court of the Dead from sideshow; its dark fantasy style fits the same general aesthetic, and the artwork and statues are absolutely stunning.

It is. I was blown away when I got it super cheap years ago. I love Evil Dead! Also, Grogu is my favorite. The lifesized one from Sideshow, when it came out, was just too amazing to pass up.

Does anyone have their favorite shelf/desktop full of their collectibles that brings them Joy every day? This is one of my desk, which is kind of my misfit/dark fantasy section of my collection highlighting court of the dead, frazetta, and somr videogame merch including some Diablo 4 promo items obtained over the years.

Don't forget tomorrow is Free Comics book day ( and technically Comics Giveaway Day) what titles are you planning on picking up? my list atm is : 1) Something is Killing the Children: Road to Slaughter 2) Nice House on the Lake #1 3) Dungeon Crawler Carl #0 anyone have any other suggestions?

I feel like Pokemon world championships would probably be a better venue to announce it. the few times i've been to SDCC, the pokemon presence was minimal at best.

Rewatching mando ahead of Mando and Grogu!

welcome!

i am really enjoying the Critical Role shows on prime. i'd highly reccomend them

I wish it could have gone a bit longer

Probably my lifesized grogu from sideshow kf some of my original comic art i got at cons

For the longest time i preferred subs witb OG voice actors, but as i've gotten older, i've gotten a bit lazy and now prefer dubs

In addition to the ones listed, i'd love to see some of the newer, smaller additions added such as Dreamer voiced by Nicole Maines

Strangely it is probably Tucker and Dale vs Evil. It is judt such a humorous take into horror movies, and really was a gateway into the genre for me.

Rogue One!

Since I already collect virtually everything ( comics, cards, figures, statues, fossils, rocks) maybe some of those newer star wars silver bars/coins

Mandolomando and grogu!

Probably star wars underworld, maybe it is because i am enjoying A Lawless Time and Star wars outlaws right now and i have a bit of a taste for the topic.

Probably pandemic legacy season 2, we kept getting crushed over and over again, but as we progressed, it became more and more satisfying

I think deep down i would be a loki variant, sure it only questionably counts as a superhero "team" but i stand by my answer

Batman 89 for sure
