Brand New Day. I feel like Beyond the Spider-Verse just took a bit too long

I’ve always wanted a really good replica of the Andúril sword from The Lord of the Rings movies (and all of Arwen’s jewelry and headpieces)

I love the Jumanji movies, but they’re just setting this whole me up for an L with this release date.

What did you think of the new episodes of Daredevil? 👀

If you have the opportunity for this one, I cannot recommend it enough. It really elevates an already wonderful movie. And the experience with the crowd, everyone was so respectful, even with the ushers telling us that not only was filming allowed, it was encouraged.

I’ve actually also gotten to see all 3 of The Lord of the Rings trilogy accompanied with an orchestra as well, and I can confirm, it was also great.

I think this story is best as a standalone and I’m afraid a sequel will cheapen the first one. Just let this be its own piece of art!

I saw La La Land in concert recently (with the actual composer Justin Hurwitz conducting the orchestra!) and it was such a magical way to experience that film. What movie would you want to see like that?

I think it’s really suffering from a lack of John Williams’ score, and it just doesn’t look like it leaned into the whimsy of the world enough so far. Putting the comparisons together of it with the previous movies, it just looked so dark and grey compared to the color grade of the movies ☹️

I’m also really interested to see Heather’s Muse storyline play out 👀

Such a good premiere episode. I loved the Bullseye reveal too!

What did you think of the first episode of Born Again season 2? Where are you hoping this season goes?

I really want her to be Jean Grey but it’s not looking super promising that’s who she is, and that’s such a generational casting bag fumble it makes me sad. Who do you think she’s actually playing?

The Spider-Man rollout is just pissing me off at this point. And this is coming from someone who thought the Avengers chairs was a really cool marketing plan

I get that everyone’s trying to do a creative marketing idea right now, but while I am sure this is so cool for the fans that got to be part of the reveals, it feels so annoying and inconvenient as a viewer 🫠

Han Solo & Indiana Jones

The Lord of the Rings trilogy are some of my favorite movies, I rewatch the extended editions 2-3 times per year. But I didn’t like the Hobbit movies, and I haven’t liked the Rings of Power series, so I’ve been hesitant to get excited at all about The Hunt for Gollum. Is this one you’re excited to see?

I was going to see The Bride but unfortunately I think the reviews have unfortunately influenced me otherwise 🫠

I knew nothing about him and was very underwhelmed and annoyed with the elimination chamber reveal after all the hype. However, his appearance last night 1000% sold me.

I have almost every Taylor Swift vinyl. (still working on the record store day versions, but other than that 😬)
