Hello Entertainment Editor, I wanted to bring a unique, fast-growing pop-culture campaign to your attention that bridges film history, streaming content, and theme parks. A new fan petition on Change.org is calling on Universal, Peacock, and Netflix to greenlight a premium, deep-dive documentary celebrating the historic Back to the Future: The Ride. The project is envisioned as a major retrospective hosted by film legend Christopher Lloyd and actress Dove Cameron. The petition outlines a two-part pitch that is gaining serious momentum in the fandom: The Ultimate Documentary Reunion: Bringing together original cast members Michael J. Fox, Thomas F. Wilson, and Lea Thompson, alongside creators Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis, and Bob Gale to break down how the groundbreaking 1991 simulator ride was created. A Theme Park Ride Revival: Campaigning Universal to utilize the documentary's momentum to retire the aging Simpsons Ride and bring back a modern iteration of the classic DeLorean time-travel attraction. The entertainment community is rallying behind this on platforms like the Inside Universal Forums: [Insert your Inside Universal Forum thread link here] You can review the full, official petition here: https://c.org/sLtvXWnQRH Given your excellent coverage of entertainment nostalgia and fandom movements, we think your readers would love to hear about this push to bring Doc Brown back. Thank you for your time and consideration! Best, J [instagram.com/gdragoncon / [email protected]]
