My vision for this anniversary set is a comprehensive, high-quality release that honors every version of the show we've come to know and love.

Key Features of the Anniversary Edition:

• Three Dub Options: All 250+ episodes from the Kanto, Orange Islands, and Johto sagas would be included with three distinct audio tracks:

  • The Original Japanese Audio

  • The Original 4Kids Dub

  • A New Studiopolis Redub: A fresh, modern dub with a talented new voice cast and a more faithful script, bridging the gap between the original Japanese and modern dubbing standards. This redub would maintain established English character names like Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, Brock, Misty, Jessie, Jae’s, Meowth, Gary Oak, Professor Oak, Ritchie and Delia Ketchum, use the original Japanese opening and ending songs (with new English singers), and keep the show's wholesome, kid-friendly tone. No inappropriate scenes, no swear words and no inappropriate dialogue.

• Bonus Content: To make this a premium collector's item, the set would include:

  • A brand-new, one-off animated special (such as a Charicific Valley episode, with Erica Lindbeck voicing Liza).

  • Documentaries and "making-of" videos reflecting on the creation of the new dub and the legacy of the 4Kids era.

• Release Formats: This special edition would be available as a premium Blu-ray box set and for digital purchase, with a release targeted for late 2026.

This project would not only be a wonderful celebration for long-time fans but also a perfect way to introduce the original series to a new audience. After its success, future releases could include the movies and the Hoenn saga.

Everything you wrote is music to my ears. Being a massive fan of the Johto arc of the anime, specifically, I would give anything to hear that intro song again and watch some of the classic episodes.
