I've been rewatching The Mandalorian, and I always feel a bit sad when Carl Weathers pops up on screen, knowing he won't be back in the movie.

This has made me wonder, what would be the best way for Mando and Grogu to handle the character of Greef Karga? I'd imagine if they were going the recast route, something would have been revealed by now. Are they gonna tastefully write him out by saying he died off screen? Will he still be alive (and just not appear), leaving the door open for a recast down the line?

Really bums me out we won't see Weathers in the role again. You could tell he had a lot of fun playing that character.

That's a tough one. He would be hard to replace. I wonder if they will just write the character out and maybe he's still alive somewhere else and they will mention him occasionally.
