It looks like the first details about the Minecraft Movie sequel have finally been revealed, despite the follow-up film being announced almost a year ago. Do you think that A Minecraft Movie: Squared can live up to the hype of the first movie?

I think there's a chance it comes close, but something about the first movie felt like lightning in a bottle, and sequels rarely tend to meet that same level of hype.

As someone who quite enjoyed the first one, I'm looking forward to more of what worked (the silliness). My 9 year old was delighted by it, and if they just keep to the same formula, they'll win again.

And if the rumors that Matt Berry is playing Herobrine prove to be true, Oscars all round tbh.
