Genius Spider-Man: Brand New Day theory...
We know someone remembers Peter Parker is Spider-Man but what if there's a more outrageous choice than the main theory that it's Hulk? I genuinely love the idea that Deadpool could remember Spider-Man, thanks to his meta-awareness superpower, and while I don't believe he's in Brand New Day, a future payoff to the joke would be great. What do you think?

Who do you want to play Miles Morales in the MCU?
If, as he says, Tom Holland is working hard to bring Miles Morales into the MCU, it can't be too long before we see him, but who would you cast? I think I'd go for an unknown (if not completely unknown, as unknown as Tom Holland was when he was cast for Civil War). No baggage means no expectations from fans...

Who do you think Spider-Man: Brand New Day's secret villain is?
If it's not Jean Grey - which is presumably ruled out by Tom Holland's comments about the villain not yet having leaked - who could it possibly be? Could those early Mr Negative rumors be legit? Spider Queen? Or is Holland just lying to protect spoilers?

Avengers: Doomsday Might Genuinely Have Multiple Dooms... Are you Excited?
Thanks to a new Avengers: Doomsday leak (from an upcoming LEGO set, not a grainy barely believable video filmed on a potato), it seems there could potentially be a Female Doom in Doomsday (as long as the set is actually FOR Doomsday). The logic of Doom variants does make sense - we know there's multiple universes and if Doom is recruiting, who better for an egomaniac to hire than himself in different forms? Here's the details on the rumor. Would you like to see Doom taking over from Kang a little more directly and having his own squadron of different Dooms?

What do you most want to see from the DCU's future (and do you want another Justice League yet)?
I'd ordinarily say I want to build to the Justice League slowly, but the DCU has always been sold as an established world of heroes, and we know Batman is already out there, so it stands to reason that the other members could be too. So maybe we don't need origin stories. I think the issue with the DCEU version was Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman felt like main players, and then the others were sort of bolted on quickly and then we had to learn to care about them later. Honestly, I just want another Batman movie on top of what Matt Reeves is doing, and I'd quite like to see something like a Justice League Dark. But I'm not holding my breath on the latter.

What's the Biggest day for movie fans ever? (And Why It's June 8, 1984)
Also, June 25, 1982 - Blade Runner and The Thing is clearly an equally good, and far cooler, reply. If you like Blade Runner. Which I don't.

What's the Biggest day for movie fans ever? (And Why It's June 8, 1984)
Elf and Love Actually both came out on the same day. I think there's a good chance I may have seen both more times than any other movie mentioned on this thread. That doesn't necessarily mean they're better, of course, but they're so engrained in Christmas culture now that they've almost transcended typical quality spectrums.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer #2 Audio Leak - Is it Real?
I live in hope of a Grey Hulk reveal, but that doesn't sound like Tom Holland or Mark Ruffalo. I'm also a little incredulous that they'd reveal that much of Sadie Sink's character at this stage. Still, trailers have revealed a lot more before, so there's a chance I'm wrong. A slim one.

Are you excited for Wonder Woman's prequel show?
Thanks to a listing on the WGA website, it seems Paradise Lost has hit a major production milestone, with the writers of Handmaid's Tale (and The 100 and superhero show Alphas) and a Bridgerton writer and executive producer hired. More here on that. If it lives up to James Gunn's billing as the DCU's answer to Game of Thrones, it'll be good (but too many shows have been presented as the new pretender to Game Of Thrones, and Westeros already has two expansions). I still can't help but wonder what's happening with the Wonder Woman movie that was said to be "being written" back in 2025 though...

Who should play SPOILER in Masters of the Universe 2 (if it happens)?
Now that we know that a certain someone is in the Masters of the Universe sequel, thanks to the actor posting about it before it's even on wide release, who do you think should play the character? I think Sydney Sweeney is a good shout, but may be a bit obvious given how odd but effective Kristen Wiig's casting as Evil-Lyn turned out to be. If you haven't seen it yet, come back to this thread after!

Disclosure Day Hype Check
I am very excited for the idea of it, but the trailers weirdly didn't massively do it for me. I am sure that will be settled when I actually see it. And like Nick, I would like them to just stop marketing it now so I don't know anything else about it. The opposite of what marketing companies now think audiences need, apparently.

Which Marvel villains do you think the MCU wasted?
I think some of the greats still came after Thanos (High Evolutionary, He Who Remains, evil Wanda, even Namor I liked), but the number of poor or forgettable ones makes the supposedly bad ones from early on look like top tier baddies.

Are you excited for Zack Snyder's Escape from New York remake?
Now that the news is out that Zack Snyder is remaking Escape from New York, how are we feeling? As a big fan of his Dawn of the Dead, I'm quietly quite excited: he knows how to make atmospheric genre movies, and he's very good with anti-heroes. I think the more important question now is who plays Snake Plissken, because I wouldn't envy anyone taking over from Kurt Russell.

HORROR MOVIES - The Official NEW BLOCKBUSTERS?!
I think it means hiring YouTubers with massive audiences and making a movie of something with years of established lore is smart business. I don't think it's as transformative as some of the social media hysteria is suggesting, because IP will continue to reign, but if it means more curveballs, then this is no bad thing.

Lex Luthor Is Finally Getting His Coolest Upgrade in Man of Tomorrow!
The Warsuit is one of the best things we've not seen in a live-action movie and now that it's confirmed for Man of Tomorrow, we're going to see some serious fireworks. The superhuman abilities it brings are one thing, but Luthor getting to play god when he spent the whole first movie dealing with a monumental inferiority complex is very good storytelling. What do you think of the Warsuit and its inclusion in Man of Tomorrow?
