Hi, Sonic fans.

With Takashi Iizuka officially confirming that a 3rd year of Sonic Racing CrossWorlds is a strong possibility, the speculation train has officially left the station!

If SEGA is planning to keep the momentum going, I’d love to see them lean into both their classic catalogue and some massive guest collaborations. Here are my top predictions for a dream Year 3 lineup:

* The SEGA Classics Pack: It’s time for some love for the older gems. Ristar feels like a perfect fit for a high-speed racer, and Joe Musashi (Shinobi) would bring such a cool, tactical aesthetic to the track.

* The Brawler Pack: Adding the cast of Streets of Rage (Axel, Blaze, etc.) would be amazing. Their karts could easily be based on the iconic urban settings of the games.

* The "Big Crossover" Pack: If they really want to go all out, why not branch out? A DC Comics collaboration and even Power Rangers would be huge draws for the casual audience and would instantly become the most talked-about DLC in the game’s history.

Realistically, I’d be shocked if they don't lean heavily into the SEGA back catalogue, but a man can dream about a DC/Ranger crossover!

SEGA should add voiced for all of the DLC characters.

I think the DC crossover costumes for the characters is a must
