The Dead by Daylight movie is making progress as it just landed a director. Are you excited for it? Can it work on screen, and what does it absolutely need to include/get right?

I heard people complaining about this because the game is so basic in terms of its mechanics but doesn't it actually have pretty deep lore? I'll be curious to see how they differentiate it from a regular horror movie but I'm open to being surprised.
