August 31Aug 31 VICE CITY!!! I think the upgrades from the previous game are soooo slept on! The main character finally spoke, motorcycles, being able to buy businesses! Who didn't want to own a strip club lol! I mean that's just the fun stuff but visually it was also a leap in how lighting worked!To me Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is the biggest gem in the franchise.

August 31Aug 31 My favorite is a tie honestly between San Andreas and Vice City for two separate reasons for San Andreas it's the rich story for CJ and all of Grove Street in dealing with Officer Tenpenny when it comes to Vice City it's the soundtrack and the side characters I can't think of a better two timing side character than Lance Vance
August 31Aug 31 My favorite GTA game so far is probably GTA V because of the extensive online play and content. While all the games have had great single player storylines, the online content of GTA V has made the replay value so great.

August 31Aug 31 Wow that's a tough one. GTA III was my intro to the series and to open world gaming in general, I was just a kid and my dad would let my brother and I play and it changed my gaming life. San Andreas is still one of the coolest overall stories and the mechanics and side activities were groundbreaking (and until 6 were exclusive to SA) plus it was one of the best for cheat codes other than Vice City. I didn't play VC quite as much as the others but still had my fair share of fun. GTA IV may have been the first time I felt like I was playing the greatest game of all time. Side activities like going to comedy shows and the ultra realistic ragdoll physics made for endless hours of fun and it may have been one of the first online games I ever played. When 5 came out it literally changed the game when it came to open world expectations. The multi-character story and especially the introduction of first-person were absolutely amazing. But for me personally, just because of the story and overall aesthetic, The Lost and Damned has always been my favorite of all of the GTA series. Having a biker gang in 5 online just made me long for the days of riding as Johnny at the front of the pack.
September 1Sep 1 I have played all of the GTA games growing up I loved loved loved vice city! I also really enjoyed GTA5 been playing that for many years.. GTA has kept me grounded and been a helpful distraction for me

September 1Sep 1 What got Hook on Grand Theft Auto all time favorite was GTA Vice City for the PS2. It was the type of game I remember when I middle school. Playing different crazy missions, having to dress like a cop, racing against time and having to transport BOOM-Shine. I still love the sound track from the 1980s. Edited September 1Sep 1 by Nerdo29

September 1Sep 1 Think my favorite GTA so far would have to be vice city because it’s the first one I ever beat. I had grand theft auto three and it was good and I had grand theft auto San Andreas and it was amazing, but vice city was the first one I locked all the way in on and beat.
