What Movie Franchise Needs to Take a Break?

Hollywood seems determined to keep certain franchises going forever, whether it's through sequels, reboots, or spinoffs.

Are there any movie franchises you think should take a break for a few years? Maybe they've run out of good ideas, or maybe you'd just like to see something new for a change.

Which franchise would you put on hold, and what would it take to get you excited about it again?
