With Halloween just around the corner, I've been thinking about how many great horror movies we've gotten over the past decade or so.

I'm especially interested in newer horror films that take a different approach to the genre. Movies like Obsession and Backrooms are the kind of horror I'm looking forward to, particularly when they lean into unsettling concepts and psychological dread.

What are some of your favorite modern horror movies? Any underrated gems or upcoming releases that should be on my radar?

I'm always looking for something new to watch, so let's hear your recommendations!
