We all have those toys or gizmos that we saw as kids that still cross our minds every now and again. I remember a couple of Nerf guns that caught my eye but never got my hands on. Whenever I go to the toy section at the store, I have to stop myself from picking one up. Who else has something like that?

The Princess Bride is my favorite by a country mile, but I also want to shout out his stint on New Girl because he's genuinely fantastic as Jess' dad.

I hope they never touch on it again. It would be a much funnier gag if it didn't turn into some profound moment.

All this talk of the Avengers: Doomsday teaser has me thinking about the most shocking thing the movie could do. Marvel might play it safe in some aspects, but there's no way it doesn't swing for the fences before the movie is over. My bold prediction is that Thor dies, since he's already been around the block a few times.

I have tried to get into Skyrim at least half a dozen times. All these years later, I know that I'm never going to be able to finish it.

Now, there's a possibility that Marvel releases each one of the teasers every Thursday and avoids this problem. However, in the event they don't, are you willing to make the trip four times? I would consider it, but I'm certainly going to stick around each time for the entirety of Fire and Ash.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! I know a lot of the movies cover the holidays, but this one really hits home for me.

I think a lot of people are going to equate a fun superhero movie set in space to GOTG, and for good reason. But this does have some notable differences.

I know, I know, he only shows up for two seconds in the trailer. But Jason Momoa looks perfect, and there's so much they could do with the character. It might be putting the cart before the horse, but I want a Lobo movie or show in the near future.

I haven't done The Wire. I live only an hour away from Baltimore and haven't brought myself to watch it. It looks great, but for whatever reason, I can't pull the trigger.

My fiance sat me down and made me watch this. Was actually a really good time.

Very much enjoyed the vibe. I wasn't excited to be necessarily in the same corner of the universe after Superman, but that trailer put those worries to bed.

I'm really hoping we don't see Steve because I don't want him to be a big part of the story. In terms of what I would like to see, give me a little bit of X-Men action and the second Avengers lineup! I'm tired of having to speculate about it.

With the year almost over, it's time to turn our attention to 2026. The release date is stacked with heavy hitters, including Avengers: Doomsday and Supergirl. What do you guys think your favorite movie of next year will be? I'm hoping mine is Dune: Part Three.

That's half the reason I'm still around. Leaving it behind feels like burning money.

You joke, but I'd watch five seasons of this.

I'm not proud of my list, but hopefully 2026 will be better. 1. Fortnite 2. Marvel Rivals 3. EA Sports Madden 26 4. EA Sports Madden 25 5. Resident Evil 2 (4 is first on my to-do list for 2026, since 9 is on the way)

I'm 100% with you. The vibe off Toph is definitely there, but everything else is throwing me off. I'm scared about what Aang will look like when he finally goes up against Ozai.

I'll always embrace physical, but the space issue is something that continues to cause problems in my life. For example, I'm buying most games digitally these days, unless I just can't resist the cover art or have the rest of the series in physical form already.

I could get behind an animated movie. WB has greenlit projects in the past with far less potential.

The vibes in Hollywood aren't great right now with the news that Netflix is close to purchasing Warner Bros. However, let's make the most out of it by cooking up some halfway decent crossover ideas. The easy one is, of course, Stranger Things with anything, but there has to be more than that!

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was a major letdown for me. It started out really strong, but once it left the island, it embraced all the worst parts of the franchise.

My hope is to start and finish Metroid Prime 4 because I need to start my Resident Evil grind at the start of the year.

I see the movies as my chance to be bad and eat candy, so I always go for Buncha Crunch and a soda. I also don't really see the appeal of eating a full movie at the theater, since the food isn't really all that good (unless you're at an Alamo Drafthouse).

I wish they would stop beating around the bush and just cast Ritchson. He's the perfect fit, and he would be wasted in almost any other role. There's a reason DC keeps going back to him: he's great.
