  1. OMG this giveaway is so cool! My favorite fight was the Red Circle Club scene. That’s where you really see the gun-fu style for the first time, fast shooting mixed with judo and close combat. The choreography is just amazing, and honestly it’s the moment that defined the whole vibe of the John Wick franchise.
  2. The newspaper comics, when my dad used to read the Sunday paper, it came with a small section just for comics, with a few panels. I used to collect them until my dad gave me my very first comic, a Woody Woodpecker one. Later, a neighbor gave me a really old Superman comic, well, she didn’t exactly give it to me… I remember I had to pretend to be her boyfriend so she would give it to me. And that’s where it all started. Lol, what a trip down memory lane.
  3. Well, my favorite characters were actually Bebop and Rocksteady. They were my favorites, they made me laugh a lot, and their look, for some reason, seemed really cool to me back then.
  4. They’re awesome. Each volume has different variants, and I’m trying to collect them all. It’s great because it finally answers that question we all had about what happens next.
  5. After years of waiting, what many fans have been asking for is finally confirmed: the return of the Dragon Ball Super anime with the long-awaited adaptation of the Moro Arc, also known as The Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga. This arc, which until now only existed in the manga, is one of the darkest and most intense stories in Super. The plot expands the scale to a truly galactic level, with the Galactic Patrol playing a central role and Moro emerging as a very different kind of threat, an ancient, ruthless villain whose abilities push even the strongest warriors to their limits. Goku and Vegeta are back in action, but this time the conflict goes beyond pure brute strength. The tone is more serious, with real consequences and a constant sense of danger for the universe. New characters and supporting cast members get far more spotlight than usual. This announcement marks the official return of the anime after years of silence, and for the first time we’ll finally see animated one of the arcs many fans consider one of the best in Dragon Ball Super. There’s no confirmed release date yet, and it hasn’t been clarified whether this will be a full TV series or a special format, but just having it officially announced is more than enough to send the hype through the roof.
  6. I just finished reading these five Spider-Man ’94 volumes, and I honestly felt the need to share my thoughts here. I loved the story from start to finish, but the ending really got to me emotionally. It genuinely brought a few tears to my eyes, and moments like that are a big reason why Spider-Man has always meant so much to me. I grew up with Spider-Man, especially the 90s era, and reading this felt like reconnecting with that version of the character — the one that balances heroics with heart, vulnerability, and humanity. I’m also curious: is anyone else here following these comics? I’m not even sure how many people are reading this run, so I’d love to hear from others who are keeping up with it. A few questions for you all: • Do you think this story will continue? • Which of the five volumes stood out the most to you? • Did the ending hit you emotionally as well, or was it just me? Huge respect to the creative team for delivering such a powerful Spider-Man story. This run really reminded me why he’ll always be one of my favorite heroes. Looking forward to reading your thoughts 🕷️
  7. Venom Lethal protector and venom nights of vengeance, these were my first symbiote comics I ever read, and they’ve been my favorites ever since.
  8. Okay, what did you think of today’s Jujutsu Kaisen episode? It was really, really good! the effects, the animation, and that Kill Bill reference 10/10 for me. What about you all?
  9. Okay, my favorite Venom is Mark Bagley’s version. I’m not sure if it’s because I grew up reading the Venom: Lethal Protector and Spider-Man comics, or because he looks extremely powerful and terrifying.
  10. I’ve been going to New York Comic Con since 2022, and last year I also attended Anime NYC, which was held at the same venue, the Javits Center, just earlier in the year. That’s when I realized that both conventions feel almost the same now. I feel like the charm of comics has been lost compared to how it used to be. Don’t get me wrong, I love manga and anime, but I believe Comic Con should have its own more defined space: more comics and less anime. I know they go hand in hand, but isn’t that what Anime NYC is for? When I go to Comic Con now, there aren’t even DC Comics panels anymore, which is honestly a bit sad. It feels like manga is slowly taking over comics. I’ve also seen proposals about merging or blending everything together even more, and I’m not sure what the future will look like. I just hope we eventually get back to conventions that are truly focused on comics and collectibles, instead of endless lines just to get a pin from whatever anime happens to be popular at the moment. And to answer the question, no, I don’t think I’ll be going this year.
  11. Wow, I honestly had Dave Bautista, Jason Momoa, or Gerard Butler in mind for Kratos. I don’t know, I just could really see any of them in that role.
  12. Okay friends, I read the manga and yesterday I watched the Culling Games explanation, and I still didn’t understand anything lol. Anyone else feeling the same way?
  13. I’m a bit nostalgic, but I recently bought this toy that I had as a kid and lost over the years. I finally found it again on eBay and had to get it. OMG, I can’t stop admiring it. And yes, I’m one of those people who keeps their action figures and collectibles sealed in their original blister packaging. Did any of you have one of these Micro Machines?
  14. The upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer series is not a reboot. Instead, it introduces a brand-new Slayer in a world shaped by Buffy Summers’ legacy. This means the original story still matters, but the focus shifts to a new generation. Do you think a new Slayer can carry the spirit of the Buffyverse without Buffy as the main character? What elements from the original series need to stay for it to feel like Buffy, and what should change to let the new Slayer stand on her own? Is this the right evolution for the franchise, or does Buffy only work when Buffy is at the center?
  15. My go-to binge-watch show will always be Buffy the Vampire Slayer, comfort, chaos, and slayers never fail.
  16. Happy new year everybody!!
  17. I think Cyclops is crying in the Avengers: Doomsday teaser because he’s carrying the weight of a massive loss or a brutal decision he had to make as a leader. It doesn’t feel like weakness at all, more like the pain of knowing what’s coming and not being able to stop it. Whether it’s losing the X-Men, Jean Grey, or sacrificing something personal to save everyone else, the moment makes the stakes feel very real. Also, the suit is absolutely on point, it really sells him as the serious, tragic leader he’s always meant to be.
  18. In a real fight, with no cinematic cutscenes or weird power-ups…Winner: Raiden And it’s not hate against Reptile; it’s just pure Mortal Kombat universe logic. ⚡🐍
  19. OMG, this took me back so much. I used to have one almost exactly like it actually, this is the one:
  20. For me, the best season is Season 4. It’s the strongest one overall Vecna is the scariest and best developed villain in the entire series, the tone is much darker and more mature, and the parallel storylines are actually worth watching. On top of that, it has so many iconic moments (Max + Kate Bush ). It almost feels like an ’80s horror movie rather than just a teen show.
  21. My favorite console of all time is definitely the PlayStation 1. I spent my teenage years playing Spider-Man, Final Fantasy, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and not to mention its catalog it was huge. Ahh, those were the days!
