  1. 1. Do you want Lex Luthor and Superman to team-up in Man of Tomorrow?

    • Yes, Lex Luthor should be an antihero (at least at the end) in the movie.

    • No, Lex Luthor needs more time to be a bad guy and that would rush his story.

With the new Superman movie being announced - and with Man of Tomorrow being the teased angle - will we see Lex and Clark team up to take on a bigger foe or not?

The comic storyline that's being referenced features a frienemy relationship between the two but, with only one Lex Luthor story under the DCU's belt, it's a little intimidating to think that Gunn might (like Snyder) be overcomplicating his Superman sequel story.

I think that while we're getting the Man of Tomorrow as the teased angle, it's not something we're going to see bloom until more the end of the movie and if that is the case, I think it could work.

I'm just gonna trust it'll be okay. I'm finally excited about DC movies and I'm not letting that go easy.

With Creature Commandos, Superman, and Peacemaker being a blast (and I would even put The Suicide Squad in this list), I trust Gunn wholeheartedly to do whatever he wants. That said, I would guess that Man of Tomorrow could feature a big intergalactic threat, like Brainiac or Mongul, that would force Lex to fight by the side of Superman (because DCU Lex does seem to care about humanity, in his own twisted way). That could be used for Lex to sell a "good guy" image he needs for us to get a President Lex Luthor down the line.
