Emmy Winners (& Nominees Who Didn’t Win)

Cristin Milioti and Tramell Tillman got awards, so I'm happy! I would love to see more of Cristin's Sofia, too, but I feel a Season 2 of The Penguin is unlikely. But she can always spearhead a spinoff in Arkham Asylum, or co-lead a Catwoman-focused TV show. I just hope it doesn't take five years for Reeves to bring her back.

Tramell Tillman had a beast of a year between Severance Season 2 & Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning: I was happy he won.

Overall, I found a lot of the wins to be... unexpected. Adolensce cleaned up a lot more than I thought it would. Same for Hacks.

But HEY: Star Wars & DC are now Emmy Award-winning properties. That's a win for geeks, and hopefully the future of prestige geek TV!

I thought the Penguin (for big ticket awards) and Dept Q should have gotten more recognition. The Studio and Adolescence both started out great, but faded in the end way too much for all the glory that they got. Same thing with The Pitt. I thought Dafne Keen, who played Jecki Lon in Star Wars: The Acolyte, should have at least been nominated for best supporting actress.
