What Would Your Secret Wars Moment Be?

Endgame gave us one of the greatest cinematic moments ever with Captain America picking up Mjolnir and him standing alone against Thanos before the portals opened and (nearly) every hero returned. It was years of build-up that paid off in a single line: “Avengers, assemble.” Now Secret Wars has the impossible task of topping that.

If it really is the multiversal event everyone expects, the possibilities are wild. Imagine Robert Downey Jr’s Doom facing a council of Iron Men, including a Tom Cruise variant. Or a scene straight out of the comics with Doctor Doom ripping Thanos’ spine out to claim ultimate power. Or Dr. Doom facing off against the intellect of multiple Reed Richards.

There are so many ways this movie could go, but what I keep wondering is: what’s your Endgame-level moment for Secret Wars? The one shot, reveal, or line that would make your theater go absolutely silent or explode with cheers?

I don't think anything can match that moment. The closest might be if the X-Men are ready to attack and Cyclops says, "To me, my X-Men," or something like that.

Maybe something big that finally brings the Young Avengers together would be fun.

Honestly, I think trying to match those moments might be the Doom (!) of the movie. Those moments worked not only because they are great scenes, but because of what they represented in the context of the movie's release. I would very much prefer Doomsday to focus more on character and have a strong story than bet all its chips in some crowd-pleasing moments. But who am I kidding? This movie will be 70% fan service...

KLaw telling Doom about how Colossus turned metal right before the vote where Doom struck them all down and showing him bring everyone back to life
