As a massive fan of the franchise, here is my wishlist for Pokémon Day 2026. I've tried to be mindful and concise with my hopes for the future!

📅 Pokémon Day 2026 Wishlist

• Generation 10 Games: The announcement and first look at the main series Gen 10 games for the Nintendo Switch successor.

• New Gen 10 Anime: A new anime series to accompany the Gen 10 games, featuring the new region and Pokémon.

• Classic Game Collection: A dedicated, standalone Pokémon Game Collection (covering Gens 1, 2, and 3) released physically and digitally, as an alternative to the current Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) offerings.

• New Products: Announcements for a wide range of new Pokémon games, merchandise, and toys.

• Anime Blu-ray Remaster: A high-definition Blu-ray remaster of the original Pokémon anime (Seasons 1–5). This would ideally feature a new, respectful Studiopolis English dub that maintains the original spirit, keeps English on-screen text/logos, and avoids inappropriate language or swear words.

Thank you for considering my thoughts! I'm eagerly looking forward to what The Pokémon Company reveals!

Definitely a lot of great wishlist items on here! I'm betting we'll definitely get that Gen 10 game announcement for Pokemon Day 2026, and hopefully a release date sometime in the same year with the 30th anniversary landing in 2026.

I would also love it if they did a classic game collection, though I don't know how likely it is.

I'm betting we get an announcement about more DLC for Legends: Z-A, along with an update on upcoming games like Pokopia and Pokemon Champions, as well.

And the Blu-ray remaster of the classic Pokemon anime through seasons 1 to 5 with a new Studiopolis redub which will respect the 4Kids era. I would like it to keep the English names for all the characters. The bluray remaster would also feature the Original Japanese dub and the original 4Kids dub will be in it with a new Studiopolis redub that maintains the original spirit, keeps English on-screen text/logos, and avoids inappropriate language or swear words.. This will be the new era of classic Pokemon anime. Erica Lindbeck would voice Liza of Charicific Valley.
