Now that Fire and Ash is out and people are getting a chance to see it, I thought this would make for a fun topic. Cameron has spoken a lot about how he doesn't know when he'll make Avatar 4 and 5. He recently said there are other films he wants to make and he doesn't want to work exclusively on Avatar for years.

After seeing Fire and Ash, do you think he should take a break from Avatar, or just go full speed ahead into the fourth movie? I think it would do him some good to step away for a bit and work on some other things for the time being. I've never been fully invested in the Avatar franchise, but I agree with the consensus that Fire and Ash retreads old ground. Might be better if he allowed the audience to miss it a bit before coming back

I haven't seen the new film, but just from the outside looking in, I feel like he needs to move faster, not slower. If you can bring this to an end in four movies, do it and get the next one out sooner than later so you don't lose the hype you have left.
