Which hero would be the most terrifying if they turned villain?

Not just because of raw power, but because of who they are, how they think, or what they already know. Also, take into account their influence.

Some heroes already operate close to the line, others have power that’s only held in check by their values. If those values shifted even a little, things could get scary fast.

Curious who you think would be the worst-case scenario and why.

Anakin Skywalker.

In the world of Western superhero comics ... it would have to be Superman - I mean The Boys is an object lesson on how dangerous a "superman" could be. in the world of anime/manga, I's have to say Jujutsu Kaisen's Satoru Gojo might even be more scary than Superman ... not only is be powerful ... but he's also a dedicated student of sorcery (the Jujutsu Kaisen form of "super powers." He'd not only break opponents but tell them exactly how he's going to do it and still succeed.

Superman would be the end of the world if he wanted it to be. That would be terrifying. I don't know Gojo, haven't read any of them yet.

I keep coming back to Professor X.

The idea of someone with that level of telepathic reach deciding they know what’s best for everyone is genuinely terrifying. He’s already walking a moral tightrope most of the time. One bad shift in worldview and he’d be unstoppable. You wouldn't even know he was controlling anyone until it's too late.

Yeah, I think Xavier is THE one for me. Tbh the X-Men have so many whose powers and abilities would make them terrifying as villains. Kitty Pryde - a ninja who can turn intangible, imagine her as an actual assassin. Cyclops - an ultimate strategist, able to outsmart some of Marvel's best minds.

Yep, the X-Men would be a menace if they ever turned.
