If you have read Absolute Superman #18, I would love to know what you thought of the issue!

You can read my full review right here, but simply put, I adored this issue, and especially how King Shazam's origin and his mythology were so seamlessly mixed in with Superman's. This series is one of my favorites, and books like this are the perfect example of why I hold it in such esteem.

Also, Shazam looks amazing, but I did not see Absolute Steel almost stealing the show! Really digging the new design.

I felt the second half of the issue was a bit rushed, throwing too many things at the reader at once for the sake of putting an Absolute spin on more characters. That said, Steel's design is amazing, and I would topple entire kingdoms to protect Pet Parasite. So, while pacing could still improve (it's been hit or miss in Absolute Superman), I'm excited about the new story.

Hahaha, it's crazy to think that within the span of two years, both the mainline Superman books and now the Absolute Superman series have delivered amazing versions of Parasite that I adore.
