Jaws is tough to beat. I'd also put Raiders, Jurassic Park, and Independence Day up there in terms of what I think of as the perfect archetypal summer blockbuster and the movies that come to mind hearing the term.

Sadly, though, didn't get to see any of them in theaters, so I'm going to have to give it to The Dark Knight. Might've also said Mad Max: Fury Road, but I'm not sure it busted enough blocks to truly count.

From this decade: Barbie or Top Gun: Maverick.
