I'll be there in IMAX day 1 regardless, but I'm not super excited by the story. It's an understandable choice given that it's Targaryens+dragons to draw people in, but Aegon's Conquest is kinda boring on the page since it's mostly just him winning quite easily. Beau Willimon writing it gives me some more hope, though.

I agree – there are definitely a ton of different stories that could have been pulled from that would probably be more compelling for a movie. But I'll definitely be heading to theaters to see it.
